Loras Tyrell/the Knight of Flowers Character Analysis

Loras Tyrell is a knight from House Tyrell. He is a skilled jouster, which has made him well-known in King’s Landing. In the tournament commemorating Ned’s new role as the Hand of the King, Loras Tyrell defeats Gregor Clegane. Gregor responds by killing his horse before trying to kill Loras. Gregor’s brother, the Hound, then steps in to stop Gregor. At the end of the novel, Loras and the Tyrells form an alliance with Renly as Renly makes a claim for the throne.
