Dear Justyce

by

Nic Stone

SJ, which is short for Sarah-Jane, is Justyce’s girlfriend and a fellow student at Yale who is well versed in the language and theory of social justice. She doesn’t understand why Justyce has agreed to befriend Jared, a former high school classmate, to let him help with their mission to free Quan. Despite her distaste for Jared, she throws herself into helping the boys prove Quan’s innocence. Her mom, Adrienne Friedman, takes over as Quan’s lawyer.
