Van Go Jenkins
Penelope Dalton is a character in My Pafology. She is the daughter of Mr. Dalton, a rich Black whom Go briefly works for. Penelope is the epitome of a spoiled rich kid—she spends her summer home from Stanford University lounging around the pool and getting drunk and high. She introduces herself to Go on his second day at work and orders him to drive her and her rich friend Roger around town. Although Penelope makes a show of caring about Go and the injustices he has faced as a young Black man who grew up poor, she ultimately belittles him and undermines his humanity, laughing at his stereotypical struggles. After driving Penelope and Roger around town all day, Go returns a drunk Penelope to her father’s pool house and rapes her, a crime Snookie Cane announces during Go’s appearance on her show.
