Exodus: Chapter 37 Summary & Analysis

Summary
Analysis
Bezalel makes the ark out of acacia wood, overlaid with gold; the mercy seat with cherubim on either side; the table for the bread of the presence; the lampstand; the altar of incense; and the anointing oil. All of these things are made according to the specifications the LORD gave Moses.
The artisan Bezalel crafts the items that will be used inside the tabernacle, again following God’s instructions. He begins at the heart of the sanctuary (the tabernacle’s most holy place, where God will meet with the people) and works outward.
