Pedrocito Character Analysis

A waiter at the Spanish restaurant in Greenwich Village, where Fonny is a regular. Pedrocito is a kind man who allows Fonny and Tish to eat without paying for their meal after Officer Bell harasses them for the first time. Later, when Fonny goes to prison, Pedrocito frequently drives to Harlem, picks Tish up, takes her to the restaurant, feeds her, and then drives her back, doing whatever he can to support her through this difficult time.
