Joey Santiago Character Analysis

Joey is one of Gregory’s best friends; he helps Gregory prepare to ask Sandra for her number. In addition to being a verbally supportive friend, Joey is in charge of supplying lip balm—though instead of bringing Vaseline, Joey brings a baggie full of mentholated VapoRub instead. He reasons that since VapoRub contains Vaseline, it’s basically the same thing.
