Admiral and Mrs. Croft Character Analysis

Admiral and Mrs. Croft are a warm and well-matched couple, who move into Kellynch Hall after Sir Walter and Elizabeth depart for Bath due to debts. Mrs. Croft accompanies the Admiral on all of his journeys at sea, and it is clear that they have a loving and equitable marriage; they are one of the few models of real marital happiness in Austen’s novel.
