Callista (Callie) Fitzsimmons Character Analysis

Callie is a 28-year-old professional sculptor and bohemian whom Norval dates after Liliana’s death. Callie is independent and bohemian, representing a more progressive vision of womanhood than Iris has ever seen before. For this reason, Iris idolizes her. Callie is also a communist (or a communist sympathizer) who is friends with Alex—but she potentially betrays him to Richard after Richard bails her out of jail.
