The Body: Chapter 22 Summary & Analysis

Summary
Analysis
After walking a little way down the tracks, Gordie faints. Vern, Teddy, and Chris hover around him. It takes a few minutes, but he recovers and they resume their walk, confident that they’re close to their goal.
Gordie just proved his own strength and courage by removing the leech none of his friends could bear to touch. But he still needs the support of others, as attested in this scene where he faints and they care for him as he revives.
