Marta Character Analysis

Marta was a young girl living in Axl and Beatrice’s warren. One day, Marta went missing and everyone in the warren panicked and decide to go look for her, afraid that an ogre or giant had taken her. However, they forgot about her before they could go find her, which alarmed Axl, who still remembered her and was appalled that she was forgotten so quickly. Marta showed back up by herself, but Axl frequently thinks about Marta and this incident as an example of just how powerful the mist that makes people forget is.
