Heresmith is the lieutenant governor of Allia, an elderly woman who arrives to apologize to Syenite for Asael’s treatment of her and Alabaster. Heresmith has a dry sense of humor and treats Syenite like someone deserving of dignity and respect, and Syenite cannot help immediately liking her. Heresmith dies along with the rest of the city when the obelisk at Allia shatters, pierces the earth, and triggers a volcano.
