Maxixe Character Analysis in The Fifth Season

Maxixe is an older grit at the Fulcrum, originally named Arkete. One day at lunch, he joins Damaya and starts a one-sided conversation with her. She is initially wary but eventually opens up to him some, as he is likeable and gregarious. After this, however, the other grits begins a campaign of bullying Damaya, and Maxixe is involved.
