Charlie Wu Character Analysis

Charlie Wu is a keyboardist with the Canadian electronica band Baltica. Charlie dies in late 1999 as a result of the bad ecstasy pills Paul gives him at a night club. Paul later insists that he hadn’t know the pills were bad—that he’d assumed he’d only had a bad reaction to them when he took them on a previous night. After Charlie dies, Paul begins to see his ghost, and he remains haunted by the role he played in Charlie’s death for the rest of his life.
