Julie Freeman Character Analysis

Julie Freeman is a journalist who is in the process of writing a book about Jonathan Alkaitis. She visits him in prison to conduct interviews about his past and the Ponzi scheme. When Alkaitis asks Freeman why she is writing about him, she explains that she is interested in mass delusion, and she sees investors’ willingness to believe in the legitimacy of Alkaitis’s fund to be an instance of mass delusion.
