Changez Chamchawala Character Analysis

Changez is Saladin’s father and a prominent member of India’s nationalist movement. The public loves Changez, but Saladin has a difficult relationship with his father, who he feels withholds affection. From a young age, Changez makes Saladin be self-reliant, which strains their relationship. When Saladin does not live his life the way Changez wants him to, Changez grows increasingly hostile.
