At Quantico, Starling prepares for her exams. While on a break, she and Ardelia speak about Starling’s future. Ardelia asks Starling if she has any interest in Pilcher, who keeps asking about her. Starling decides she will go and see Pilcher, who shares a home with his sister on Chesapeake Bay.
Now that the Buffalo Bill case is over, Starling can start to live her life like a normal human being again. Of course, part of normal human life is romance, something Starling has been entirely neglecting. Given that she accepted Pilcher’s invitation, it looks like she plans to rectify that problem.
