Jawaharlal Nehru Character Analysis

The first prime minister to lead India after its independence from Britain. Nehru established parliamentarian government in the country and took a neutral position in world affairs. During the Independence movement, he was one of Mahatma Gandhi’s primary associates, though he contrasted from Gandhi due to his modern political and economic outlook as well as his secular style and habits. Nehru, too, was a member of the Congress Party.
