Harlan Dunfee Character Analysis

The Admiral’s son and the real person behind the urban legend of Humphrey Dunfee. When Harlan began acting out in the years after the Heartland War, the Admiral was pressured to unwind him to set an example. Harlan is symbolically put back together again at the end of the novel, after the Admiral manages to track down every person who received an organ from Harlan and brings them together for a party in Harlan’s honor.
