The street food vendor owns a boat moored across from the Intercontinental Hotel, preparing and selling food to late-night customers. After the men leave, the vendor’s nephew urges him to call the police, but he refuses, reminding his nephew the only way to stay safe in Istanbul is to mind his own business.
