Cousin Phil
Two Dog is a Native American who lives with Mr. Thompson up in the mountains. Ralph befriends him while he and Mr. Thompson are staying with Ralph’s family, learning about his life and home through sign language. Later, when their horse Bill grows sick, Ralph secretly visits Two Dog in the mountains to enlist his help. Two Dog and Mr. Thompson promptly return Ralph home that night, and Ralph wakes the next morning to find Bill is cured.
