Jasmine is the daughter of Dexter and Sylvie and eventually a step-child to Emma. Initially, Dexter struggles as a father and gets drunk the first time he has to watch her on his own. As Dexter gets older, however, he learns how be a more responsible father, showing her the places in Edinburgh where he and Emma once lived.
