The Registrar Character Analysis

The registrar is a man who works at Yale University; his job is to enroll accepted students in the classes they want to take. When Benjamin meets with the registrar in order to do this, though, the registrar refuses to believe he’s 18. Calling him a “dangerous lunatic” because he thinks Benjamin is a middle-aged man posing as a college freshman, the registrar kicks Benjamin out of his office and makes it clear that he’s not welcome at Yale.
