Dr. Frederick Murphy Character Analysis

Now the director of the National Center for Infectious Diseases at the CDC, Dr. Murphy was one of the scientists who discovered Ebola, who helped name it, and who took pictures of it with an electron microscope to help others identify it. A friend of Major General Russell’s, he helps USAMRIID scientists to identify the Reston virus as Ebola by looking at the pictures taken by Thomas Geisbert.
