Daft Donald Character Analysis

Daft Donald is the bodyguard of El Patrón. He is similar in appearance to Tam Lin, with a brutish, tough exterior, and was also a Scottish nationalist before coming to work for El Patrón. He cannot speak due to an injury he sustained in the bombing that haunts Tam Lin’s past. He survives El Patrón’s purge only because Tam Lin warns him not to drink the poisoned wine.
