Detective Newland Character Analysis

Newland is a detective who spies on Roxy and her mother. He then sells the information to Primrose so that Primrose’s gang can kill Roxy’s mother. Later in the novel, Roxy and Darrell track down Detective Newland and discover that it was actually Bernie who had him spy on them and have Roxy’s mother killed. Roxy and Darrell then kill Newland.
