Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk

by

Ben Fountain

Ennis is the Dallas Cowboys' equipment manager. He's in charge of cataloguing and distributing massive amounts of equipment including footballs, padding and personal protection, and over-the-counter medications. Ennis very clearly takes a great deal of pride in his work and his organizational skills, and he refuses to give Billy Advil for this reason—he states that he could lose his job over even that small infraction.
