Keisha Character Analysis

Keisha is Dre’s fiancé and Adreanna’s mother. She and Dre have been together for years, but they plan to get married the summer after the novel begins. Keisha is a college student at Markham and while she’s in school, she and Adreanna live near campus while Dre lives in Garden Heights. She’s distraught when Dre is murdered, but she’s able to give Maverick an important clue as he tries to figure out who killed Dre: Dre’s killer had a raspy voice, like Red.
