Miss Frask Character Analysis

Miss Frask is a young woman whom Elizabeth meets at Hastings. At first, Frask is an unkind woman, who spreads crude rumors about Elizabeth and treats her abhorrently. However, that all changes when she and Elizabeth confide in each other and discover they both experienced sexual assault at the hands of their thesis directors. From that point forward, Miss Frask is always in Elizabeth’s corner, and she plays a key role in rehabilitating Elizabeth’s public image.
