The Krenmitzes Character Analysis

The Krenmitzes are a family who lived in the apartment below Annie’s family when they lived in Bakersfield, California. Mr. Krenmitz and three of his children were killed during a fire that started in the apartment building’s basement, leaving only his wife and youngest child alive. Finding a newspaper article about the fire in Annie’s scrapbook, Paul assumes that she started the fire, making the Krenmitzes her first victims.
