Mr. Corsa Character Analysis

Mr. Corsa is the headmaster at Heathcroft. Despite allowing noughts into the school, Mr. Corsa shows on several occasions that he in no way supports integration. When Shania is injured on her way to school on the first day, for instance, he refuses to help her. And later, in a conversation with Mrs. Paxton about the bullying the noughts are experiencing, he uses the slur “blanker” and insists there’s no reason to intervene—eventually, the hostile school environment will encourage the nought students to leave.
