The Boy from the Bus Character Analysis

A young man of roughly Makina’s age who harasses her on her bus to the Big Chilango. Uninterested in his antics and unafraid to stand up for herself, she immediately fends him off by almost breaking his finger and threatening to do much worse if he bothers her again. Much later, Makina runs into him across the border, where he is working at a nondescript restaurant and introduces her to the woman who eventually leads her to her brother.
