Locke Character Analysis

Like Kara, Locke was a friend of Jenna Fox’s when Jenna lived in Boston. Locke died in the car accident that nearly killed Jenna. While Locke and Kara were dying, Jenna’s father Matthew Fox took brain scans of them in hopes of being able to rebuild their bodies and upload their scanned minds to those bodies. Though Matthew was unable to rebuild Kara and Locke, he kept their disembodied minds in hopes that their memories could prove that Jenna wasn’t criminally reckless in the accident that killed them. Kara and Locke’s minds suffer in the “void” of disembodied existence until Jenna, discovering what her father has done, destroys the uploads and “frees” her friends.
