Dr. John Money Character Analysis

A doctor who believed that gender was a social construct, and that parents could simply choose the sex for their baby. He touted the case of David Reimer as an example of this strategy’s success, but given Money’s disturbing clinical practices and David’s psychological torment throughout his life and eventual suicide as an adult, the ethics and legitimacy of Money’s work have been heavily criticized.
