Mad Dog Craddock Character Analysis

Mad Dog Craddock is Billie Jo’s friend, as well as the most talented pianist in town. He is always kind to Billie Jo and humble about his musical abilities. Despite his name, he is a rather gentle person who works hard to get by. Billie Jo is enamored with him and wishes he would court her, although he never does. Eventually, Mad Dog gets a paid opportunity to play music on the radio in Texas, which he takes.
