Félice Character Analysis

Félice is Joël’s lover. After he dies, Félice expresses to Amabelle her wish to help Dominicans learn to respect Haitians as equals. As the massacre begins, Félice is too scared to try and flee to Haiti, so she stays behind at the home of Doña Sabine and Don Gilbert. Amabelle also gives Félice Joël’s death mask for safekeeping.
