Nanantatee Character Analysis

Nanantatee is Henry’s old friend from when he lived in the U.S. Nanantatee belongs to an Indian family of jewel merchants. Henry reconnects with him in Paris, and Nanantatee lets Henry stay at his apartment, though he makes him do domestic chores. Nanantatee’s arm was deformed in an accident, so he needs help with basic tasks. He holds spiritual beliefs that amuse Henry.
