The Thespian portrays Captain Will Shamus in The Hamlet. He started his long career off Broadway. He is known for immersing himself so much in his role that he stays in character and refuses to shower and shave so that he can feel what it’s like to be a frontline soldier who has been in the jungle for days. The narrator notes that he gives off an aroma like “slightly less than fresh ricotta.” He also demands to sleep in a pup tent instead of in an air-conditioned trailer.
