Hal Miller Character Analysis

Hal Miller is a shrimper in Barkley Cove who claims to have seen Kya on the night of Chase Andrews’s murder. Hal testifies that he was on his way back to shore that night when he spotted Kya zoom by in her boat, headed for the fire tower. However, when Kya’s lawyer, Tom Milton, cross-examines Hal, he admits that he can’t be absolutely sure that the person he saw was Kya.
