Cardinal Morton Character Analysis

When Cromwell was a little boy, his uncle John was a cook at Cardinal Morton’s residence, and Cromwell used to go there sometimes to help his uncle out in the kitchens and get some food to eat. Thomas More was a page in Cardinal Morton’s household at the same time, and he was already well known for his intelligence. Young Cromwell watched More and felt that there was an unbridgeable chasm between them. However, as an adult, Cromwell ends up becoming even more powerful and successful than More.
