Ishii Shiro Character Analysis

Lieutenant Colonel Ishii Shiro is a real historical figure. He is the commander of the unit of the army that includes the laboratory where Dr. Ibaraki works in Japan. He is the architect of Unit 731’s infamous plan to make biological weapons and test them on human subjects. In Ibaraki’s interactions with Shiro at the laboratory and during a night out, Shiro is cruel, coercive, and egotistical.
