Cora Simard Character Analysis

Cora Simard, a survivor of the prom night disaster, is the mother of Rhonda. Upon hearing about the fire at the prom, she and her friend Georgette go into town—just as is in the act of Carrie releasing live wires on Carlin Street. Georgette is electrocuted as she attempts to flee. Cora manages to navigate the wires and escape—only to be further traumatized when she learns of her daughter’s terrible death.
