Henry Grayle
Mr. Morton is the vice principal of Ewen High School. He helps Miss Desjardin in the immediate aftermath of the locker room incident by giving Carrie a dismissal slip to go home early. He means well but unintentionally upsets Carrie by accidentally calling her “Cassie,” causing her to telekinetically push his ashtray off his desk. Morton later commiserates with Grayle after Grayle’s confrontation with John Hargensen. Morton’s fate on prom night is unknown, although the fact that neither Grayle nor Ms. Desjardin mention his death in their resignation letters suggests that he survived.
