Mr. Pollock Character Analysis

Mr. Pollock is Amy Pollock’s father. He splits his time between his home in San Francisco and Nunivak Island, where he works for the Reindeer Corporation. Mr. Pollock puts Miyax in touch with Amy, initiating the girls’ pen pal friendship. Mr. Pollock is a kind and helpful man. For instance, a young man named Russel tells Miyax that Mr. Pollock has been instrumental in helping him and many others recover from alcoholism.
