Johnny Character Analysis in The Body

Johnny is the older brother of Chico in Gordie’s short story “Stud City.” His and Chico’s stepmother, Virginia, seduces Johnny and he gets a night shift job working in the pit at the local speedway so that they can have sex without getting caught by his father, Sam. Johnny dies in a car accident at the speedway.
