Alfred Brangwen Jr. Character Analysis

Alfred Brangwen Jr. is the son of Alfred Brangwen and Mrs. Brangwen. He moves away from Marsh Farm to work as a draftsman. He marries a woman from a wealthy family and becomes rather snobbish, often looking down on his brother, Tom Brangwen. Alfred Brangwen Jr. also has an affair with Mrs. Forbes, which becomes a scandal in Ilkeston. Additionally, Alfred Brangwen Jr. is the father of Will Brangwen.
