Neil compliments Craig on his rhythm. Craig shows Neil some of the brain maps he’s been drawing: he now has about 15 or so of them. Neil offers his card and says he might even be interested in buying Craig’s art when he’s out. Later, Craig is surprised to learn that he has a visitor and it’s Nia.
Neil offers Craig a way to continue using the social and artistic skills he’s built in the hospital once he returns to his old life, potentially as a way to help others. This emphasizes how, while Craig’s time in the hospital will be transformative for him, it’s ultimately part of a process that he will have to continue to work on even after he leaves.
